My reasoning? Apple doesn't care about the environment. Windows has the Recycle Bin, but a Mac just has a trash can.

the both are exactly the same, only "Trash" is more adequately named (how does the recycle bin recycle exactly? Clearing space doesn't count as recycling)

Actually, he's right in the sense that Apple is, in fact, a less "green" company that Microsoft or Dell, but my Dad leads one of the design teams at Apple, and they keep gigantic blue recycle bins sitting in the office halls.
You find a lot of cool stuff in them, it's where my cellphone came from. :3

No one is taking his statement seriously. However, the, at the moment, the thread just allows people to talk, argue, and generally make some sort of conversation about operating systems and their manufacturers.

Actually when you think about it Mac's are the best because you can run Window's on them, basically when you swap between a Window's with a Mac you're basically trading in a user friendly computer with issues with another user friendly computer with issues, only you just swaped the issues around with the user friendly stuff. That's basically the only difference between the two.

That's funny, because my computer was XP when I got it. Must have been a downloadable penguin, that I therefore don't give a shit about. Or maybe microsoft puts a penguin in the box just in case, in which case windows bores the thing to death while linux gives it something to do.
