Reading the "GameStation opened in my town" thread gave me inspiration for this one.

What's the most important thing that's happened in your town's history? Was someone important born there, did something significant happen there, etc.

I'll start off - Bill Clinton, while he was President of the USA, signed a law at my town's High School.

Can you top that?

OK, going away from my current town and back to my hometown, I'll just say that my hometown is Boston, MA. The important stuff that happened there is too much to list.

A hurricane wiped out my city, causing the worst natural disaster in United States History.

We have the French Quarter, Burbon Street, Mardi gras, festivals, the Superdome, Mississippi river, Many presidents have come and visited out city, and eaten at the finest restraunts. Manuel's hot tamales, Crawfish, crawfish boils, Houses built hundreds of years ago, the land is completely flat, marsh areas everywhere. Not sure if all this qualifies as being better, but meh.

Oh yea and cafe du mond. And tastee doughnuts, and a long time ago Mckenzies. Forgot how to spell it.
