A man.

Bad color scheme.

It's a .jpeg, which makes the colors look even worse.

Do not take the above post seriously.

Up your smoothing, and also make sure you map out an anatomy plan on a layer/layers underneath where you're going to make the finished peice. Remember, when you're drawing to get the smoothest lines you need to have an absolute picture of where the lines are going to go and you should make quick, sure strokes whenever you use brush.

That's a lie.
I cant imagine this taking more than 1 minute to draw, if that.

Unless you drew it with your nose or something.

Use a brush tool, the pencil tool in Flash is for other uses than people.

And like I said before, the .jpeg ruins what COULD have been a somewhat crappy drawing into a REALLY crappy drawing.

Do not take the above post seriously.

If that took a while then you are almost incomprehensibly inefficient or your definition of "a while" is really warped. Normally I would say take more time, put more effort in and practice more, but I'm not really sure what to say if that's honestly something you feel like you really put time and effort into. Maybe take some classes or something.

That's what you use the line tool for. In the pencil options, set the pencil tool to "smooth" and increase the smoothing. I also recommend you use the brush tool. For the fill problems, just change the paint bucket options to "close large gaps."
