A Question To Ng Atheists

So all you nonbelievers on NG... if you were FORCED, like, against your own physical will to pick a religion, which would it be and why?

I myself would pick Shinto as it is the closest religion to Atheism as far as my opinion goes. (Kami are often misunderstood; they are supposed to be souls, not Gods.) It's a religion without worship, sin, a book, a dogmatic moral code or anything. It's simply the belief in souls and a few other things.

What would you pick?

If I were atheist (am not) I would pick the religion of Konfusious (whatshisname). It just teaches that you should live a good life without beleiving in the afterlife.

Anyway, i would probably also pick Satanism. I like the philosophy of Satanism, altough i don´t agree with anything.

I strongly agree! Old Norse religion and mythology is pretty sweet because you don't really have to chose just one.... you can mix and match!
