I like liked the "Paladin", "300", and the dragonball influence but the only things I would change are the porpotion of some of his body and DO NOT do too much detail into his muscles. Trust me, I am an artist and I have learned by trial and error.

Hm..

That's always sorta been my problem. I put too much detail into things, and it sorta kills it. So....not too much anatomical detail then?

Yeah, I think you're working too much on the details before you even get the anatomy down. Try just drawing a simple pose and getting that as good as possible, then go in and do the details.

I agree with my esteemed collegues that when drawing muscle, less is more. Particularly in line-art.

I would also take a little time to work on your proportions. His arms and legs seem a little stubby, and his head is a bit too big.

Other than that, all you really need is practice. Good work. :)
