Japan isn't the one doing all of this. I know a Japanese person, I showed them this thread, and even they agree that the fanartists are ruining two good things: childhood memories and the anime art style. It's the fans, the "artists", the ones who people spitefully (and rightfully) refer to as weeaboos, who decide it's a great idea to take good American cartoons and turn them into anime abominations.
