looking for a program 2008-06-05 20:37:16 Reply

I'm looking for a program that I can use to get rid of the white background in my bitmaps I use in flash
It would be best if it was download-able of a net page
any sugestions

1. this is the programing forum you should of posted in the flash one
2. click the bmp, go to the top bar press modify>bitmap>trace bitmap play with the settings set both boxes to one and the third to pixel and make sure to save first it may freeze flash

I do that it gets blurry

You can use the GIMP. It's like photoshop, just free. It is a bit complicated, but there are a bunch of tutorials and stuff out there, not too hard to figure out. You'll need to export it to a different file type (like png) if you want transparency, but doing it this way gives you lots of options and total flexibility.
And this is a fine question for the programming forum, you seem to be aiming at finding a specific program, not learning how to use flash.
