I'll be it's the one genre of music that all of us newgrounders can completely agree is shittier than shit is County Music. I mean fucking seriously. The guitar is ok, but the fucking vocals make me cry. They do. Not the "OMG THIS SONG IS PWNAGE" tears, but the "HOLY FUCK I THINK THAT JUST TOOK YEARS OFF MY LIFE" crying. And every country song is about a girl, or relationships. Fucking search randomly for any country song and it will always be about a girl/relationship. It's annoying as hell.

So NG, is my asumption correct?

No, any genre thats big enough is bound to produce some good shit. Including country music, but you just focus on labels and decide it's all crap because you don't like your local country/western radio station or something. But thats your loss.

And just because I know somebody is going to come along and personally attack me along the road for saying country is gay and saying what I listen to is shit, I'll tell you guys what I listen to. I listen to stuff usually consisting of (not all together) Trance, Electronic, Ambient, Rock (70's - 90's ish), so mostly instrumental. Say what you will about the music I listen to, but honestly I don't care.

The same goes for every genre of music then, since it's safe to assume you based this off of the few country songs you've heard.

If you catch the shit end of any genre of music, you'll think it's horrible because that's all you've heard from that particular genre. Then again, some people just don't like certain genres of music, so no matter how much you hear of it, it'll still sound like shit.
