Most religions have their flaws because all they were made from was what people could explain back then, but because of modern day science disproving and proving things is filling in the stuff we couldn't explain back then so no more use for a god anymore really.

I think it's an even bigger shame when people feel guilty because they broke their religion's rules. And it's even even worse when people deny their sexuality because of their religion. You only get one life, and it's a shame to live it badly because you're looking forwards to death so much.

I believe 15 is too young to be making a decision such as this one based upon your knowledge of the world. Sunday school classes are for sheep and people who need faith drilled into their heads you apparently weren't one of those people.

I think people grant religion far too much likeliness. I think a sensible 15 year old can see that the miraculous claims of religion are unlikely. Hell, I was asking deep theological questions like 'why are there birth defects and volcanoes', 'what's the deal with dinosaurs', 'do cavemen go to Heaven', when I was about 6, and receiving no satisfactory answers, and it was only the overly-devout kids who didn't ask these questions.

How can you be an atheist and then ask people what's on God's mind like they know - one of the points of being an atheist is to realise that no-one knows what's on God's mind, in the highly unlikely event that He exists in some form.

Nobody should feel sad about not being religious, you're not missing much. Atheism is great because you get to spend Sundays doing something useful instead of watching some fag talk shit in a church.

You have no way of knowing that. But just consider how many religions are and have been out there and how many you or I could come up with in a matter of minutes. All of them have equal chances of being the "right" one. The odds of picking the right religion are astronomically low. And for some religions having the "wrong" religion could be far worse than having no religion at all. The gamble isn't anywhere near worth it.

And just for fun, let's assume that there is a God, who's a very reasonable god. This God would happily reward you for thinking for yourself and having the courage to be skeptical. This God isn't any less likely than the vindictive one who would send you to hell for your "betrayal".

Being an atheist or agnostic isn't a "risky" bet, by any means. When you look at the sheer number of possibilities, Christians have no greater chance of avoiding Hell than you have.

Well, im agnostic. You can always open yourself to what you think happened. Instead of pre-made religious scenarios. God could be in a completely different form, or place! You could believe stuff different than Jesus or moses if you use to be christian, or all that stuff. It all really depends, on what you think.

Also, Yeah, people have been worrying about that stuff.
