I don't like crab sticks. But, I like most other seafood. Prawns (king or otherwise), mussels, squid, etc.

Unlike most people I prefer mussels when they are in vinegar rather than garlic butter or whatever it is.

I like fish, cooked though, I don't like raw fish. But that's probably the only seafood I'm going to eat, don't think anything else really sounds that nice, so I won't try it if it looks horrible.

I love it. Even ate if for breakfast once. Will eat: Shrimp (my fav) in anyway, Bass, salmon, Octopus, and basically anything. Don't really like mussels though.

I personally have hated the taste of seafood since my earliest childhood memories. The only seafood I ever liked, was naturally caught with a hook and pole by me, which I then killed / cleaned / cooked myself. That's the only way I will enjoy the taste, as long as it's naturally caught and fresh. I'm talking no longer than 5 minutes being dead before being cooked.

Well... considering my grandfather has been allergic to shellfish since he was born in 1918, I'd say it's not just nowadays that there's loads of allergies... but yes, they are probably a lot more common now.
