So... Basically since I'm 16 I've always worked in shitty places. Fish Market, Supermarket, some Governmental crap to edit a ton of movies for a shitty salary, drug stores, etc. All that at a minimum salary or close.
I finally got a real job that pays well enough for me to buy a house, a car, etc...
And all that while I'm only almost 20 years old. I now work as the Foodstore Manager in the classiest hotel of Montreal, the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth. Basically I just take orders for the cooks and do a lot of paperwork and arms work. In a few months I'll be buffed enough people believe I've been training in a gym for a year. And the salary is good enough for me to fly with my own wings...
If you're still in school, you have no idea how great it is to finally get something SERIOUS happening in your life, and to have an actual future set. I plan on going back to college in a year, to learn 2D animation and programming, and perhaps French or English literature... just for my own satisfaction.
So, are you guys impatient to see your life's machine start working and start having some autonomy? :)

Thanks Murad136 for the sig.

Good for you.
I want to be a lawyer (good pay and seeing criminals squirm = win) with some programing knowledge as a extra/fun thing at the side.
PS: don't get hit by a bus or hummer, that would be bad (Obviously)
(Back from the dead!)
Thanks to TheWolfe for letting me steal his sig.

Don't lie, all you want to do is to yell "OBJECTION" in the court.

You left out the part where you tell us the exact numerical dollar amount of money that they are going to pay you. That's all I care about. Tell us. Nao.

I'm not impatient, but I'm also not patient at all. Nervous as fuck to do anything, but I hear that is highly common. I am applying for my first part-time job soon, at a local taco bell. It's going to be awful, but it's a start!

Nice glad to hear you got something good.
2D animation? You had better become a good flash artist then.

Well right now my only two problems to become a good Flash Artist is knowledge of Flash and a Tablet... I don't know how Luis manages to draw so well with a mouse but I can't. Also, I kinda forgot everything I knew about Flash while not touching it for five years -.-

I thought you wanted to get into film, etc. Like directing or something.
Seems like an odd change, but I guess what ever works and where ever your dad can you get a job =P.
Do what you love though. I know financial security is nice (I'm currently working for an insurance company - love the pay, but it's very far from biology/medicine.), but you have to do what you love!!

Have fun when it's offseason, my bro's gf basically does the same thing as you, and she was all but laid off when January rolled in.

That is good. At 20? That's great.
There is a war going on in you're mind. People and ideas all competing for you're thoughts. And if you're thinking, you're winning.

I just got promoted at work, which is a first for me...
I work as an assistant-editor in a tv production company in Montreal and starting in September, I'll become director of post-production. Just so you know, there is a HUGE step between the two jobs, so I was really surprised as fucked when I was offered the job. It's basically my boss' job, and she's going on a maternity leave for a year.
By the way Etienne, I'd like to know if you want me to buy the tickets, because, you know... YOU DON'T ANSWER YOUR FUCKING PMs! >:(

Nice job!
At a Fairmont too!
I got a job at a golf course this summer. I already know it'll be nearly impossible for me to ever work indoors again.
