Faviroute developer?

Just wandering folks, who is your faviroute game developer and why. I would say mine is valave for these reasons -

Their games are very individual in the way that no other fps' look the same.
They made the source engine, wich as far as I can see has no errors and is awesome.
Their games entertain for hours and I love the way that the half life games never have loading screens that put you somewhere else but you just move throughout the whole game resulting in a good feel of achievement.

And their logo, with the exploding crate, is ace.

Blizard.

Fuck WoW... I love Starcraft (almost more then life).

Really though, Blizzard has never made a bad video game. Every game that's come out of their building has been perfection. Even WoW, with all of it's downfalls, is still a really well done game. And for people that have the time, money, and patients to sink into it love it.

But really, name a bad Blizzard game. It just simply can't be done. Rock N Roll Racing is still one of my favs to this day. The Lost Vikings was excellent too.

Oh noes, he liekz teh nintendo gaems! Must be a fanboy. Zelda and Metroid are two of the best game series in existence. Mario games like SM64, SMB 3, and Super Mario RPG are all fucking better than most games being released today.

they were my favourite, untill the tradgedies on April the 29th.
thousands of people were scammed out of their cash and bought what they though would be the best damn game to ever hit anything, EVEr. but no, all they got has a shitty game.

Konami (and Kojima Productions), has produced THE best games as of 1987 when they released Metal Gear... let's hope they don't follow it the footsteps of Rockstar and Bungie by turning such a big name into a fucking big brown stain.

I have to say, I really like nintendo. Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, All zelda games, Metroid games, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, etc. were all great games.

The best developers are probably:
- Nintendo (Mario and stuff, you know the deal)
- Rare (Awesome games like Banjo-Kazooie and Starfox Adventures)
- Capcom (Mainly because of old classics like Street Fighter)
- Namco ( Old classics like Dig Dug and Pac-man but newer games too for example: The Tales series, Soul Calibur and Katamari Damacy)

The best around.

Yeah I think I would probably have to go with Valve. Their games are so easy to tweak and implement skins for. Not very demanding on the system either.

Anyway, my absolute favorite is, obviously, Nintendo R&D 4 (or just Nintendo. I don't think they're called that anymore). Too many classics to count.

Harmonix - For creating the glory that is Guitar Hero
Neversoft - For, despite what other people who started the series on GH I+II say, doing an excellent job taking over the Guitar Hero series
Square-Enix - Because sometimes I need a over-budgeted, pretentious JRPG fix
Atlus - Because sometimes I need an incredibly quirky, charming, low-budget JRPG fix (although most of what they do is publishing)
Nintendo - Let's face it, they're probably the reason that most of us play videogames
Doublefine - Because Tim Schaefer is awesome
Kojima Productions - Because Hideo Kojima is awesome
The Behemoth - Because brown-nosing is awesome

This is a tough catagory.

Capcom - thank you for Resident Evil.

Activision - without whom Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 wouldn't have been possible.

Nintendo - the master creators that saved the video game industry & gave us gaming's biggest icons.

EA - I love the 007's they've made. I also hear their line of Madden football games have done okay.

Rare - their greated achievement- 007: Goldeneye.

Ubisoft - they took a gamble and made Tom Clancy's novels into some great games.

Bungie - I've wasted so many hours of my life to Halo I had to at least mention them.
