I think you just might have created something that will drop your college cohorts jaw... to the floor.
Wicked!
I want one!

Hey, hey, thanks guys. I should be resuming work on the comic series in the very near future... for now here is a mining colony design for the other project named "Belt Line".
I really like your storyline for 'WindClaw' . you should pitch the movie to a hollywood company
looks a lot like halo regardless good art
your opinion doesn't matter
Add a bit more detail to your ship models, pipes, fuselages, weapon turrets, sensor arrays, etc etc. Other models need a bit more detail too, they lack a bit and the general images seem to be a bit simplistic and kiddy. Sorry, they are decent, they just lack a bit. Or at least, that's the impression I get.

I hope that this will suffice then... the Omega Class Destroyer (EAS Agamemnon), crewed by 1000 enlisted men with over 30 officers and over 48 pilots for 36 starfighters and shuttles.
Armament:
12 Standard Particle Beams (6 port, 6 starboard)
4 Heavy laser cannons (2 forward, 2 aft)
2 Heavy pulse cannons (both forward)
6 Mk II interceptors (one facing every 60 degrees of the ship)
I see a bit of Starcraft influence in your 3d work, but i like it. The only thing i suggest is to mess with the lighting. I personally have about 2 hours total of 3d experience, so i can't say much.

Now that is much better! Although materials need a bit of work, it still looks very much like it's just been modelled. Stick some decent textures on etc.
Also, the background doesn't look alll that much like space as more of a background artists sketch, work a bit more on that, add more depth and the lighting needs a bit more work too. As far as I know space isn't quite so... spotlighted? It's really bright in other words.

Hey, hey, thanks much!
Onward to another pic...
The USS Sagan is en route to it's first mission: observing a star go nova within 5 AU's distance.
Captain Collins is making his rounds trying to get aquinted with the crew when his science officer summons him to the bridge. When Captain Collins arrives the science officer informs him that a vessel had been following them, and that it appears to be the USS Avenger... A ship thought to be trapped in the Andromeda galaxy...
The USS Sagan attempts to hail the USS Avenger... Only to have their signal replied to with a volley of torpedoes! Captain Collins orders the Sagan to maximum warp in an attempt to escape the Avenger, even though he clearly knows that the Avenger has the more powerful warp drive.
Yeah, this image has way too many blurs in it, but I couldn't think of a good way of indicating entering warp speed... The next shot should be better.

I think the blurs are ok, but you really overdid it a bit on the lens flare. It makes it difficult to see the ship closest to us.

Yep, you called me on a very bad habbit I have... as long as people keep calling me on it I should eventually learn to use them less if not all together...
I've been going back and forth on stuff, lately I've been trying to redraw some scenes in my comic and possibly just redo the comic all-together to improve the art... otherwise the story still stands.
I would love to see Wind Claw translated into a flash movie. You said before that your animations use a lot of tweens. You could use tweens and text bubbles to give the movie a comic book feel. I think it would be great.

Or is he bulletproof... :P
Anyway, nice job as usual!

wow pretty cool picture I like how it all looks good job
I saw a thread recently that took a crack at Harley Quinn. I decided that I should give it a shot too.
Breasts are sulking man, you're close.
Here's a funky one I made just today:
Changed the render so that it would have more highlights:
your reflective surfaces are really sweet, i'm easily impressed by digital art because i don't know an inkling about it, but really cool drawings and your new robot stuff is sweet
Your drawings are amazing, and so is your 3-D art. However, with your drawings, you aren't as good with curved edges.
Just a suggestion, but you should try to get better at that =P
Thanks much man, I'll be working on those curves (thinking of the poor excuse for Harley Quinn).
Anywho, this one makes me think of 2nd Edition D&D... when THAc0 was used as a tool to keep newbies out, and now 4th Edition is out where all of the 4th Edition 1st level characters make any 5th level 2nd or 3rd edition characters look sorry...
Still, I have my good memories.
