This one is a break from the series, I figured this parody only makes sense:

I haven't updated my web series on this thread because I've been agonizingly trying to redesign one of the characters who will go by the code-name of 'gamma' for now.

So far, here are the results, comments?

Well the legs on your new revise of gamma do certainly have long legs that never seem to end.

I think it looks feminine. If that is what you wanted, then it is good. If not, you have some work ahead of you.

Luckily, it was my intention to have it look feminin. There is a chick underneat that that thing. Anywho, here's page 16 of "The Wind Claw"

Then I think you nailed it. I think this character has some real potential. I could definitely see it as part of "the gang."

That would be fun, but I'm afraid my animations would look a lot like "Broken Saints", pretty nice artwork but now animation skill what-so-ever... just a bunch of tweening...

Hey, hey, post 100 of the thread and page 18 of the storyline!

So far so good, though I kinda feel you stumbled on a cliché of having a female soldier (or similiar) who doesn't get killed in a bloody way... or at all :)

Well, it's an opportunity to have fun with her later. If she survives, we get to see her fight again (which we will).

Otherwise, yeah, it's very cliche but I couldn't help myself.

That comic is pretty good. Why aren't the first few paged colored? It's not super original (the story line) but it is good. I will revisit later to see if there are any updates.

Thanks much. The first two pages are a result of me being lazy and experimenting with a way to produce each page more quickly. I decided to say screw it by page three. Right now it takes me about 4 hours to draw a page when I sit down to do it.

Well, when you have a crazily detailed timeline of events that happen to the guy...
Have a plotline where the poor schmuck is attacked by something that gives him powers...
Is hunted by a military organization that's so secret that the elected leaders don't know it exists...
And manages to cram in aliens...
And a love story (that sadly does not involve the guy)...

Then you got something that you like thinking about and drawing.

The punch in the first frame is strange. It is ... awkward. Actually your character is awkward throughout page 20. I am sure that if you look, you will understand what I mean.

I thought the punch was the only frame that worked, the last frame he looks like chibi-claw. That's what happens when I rush I guess. No more rushing Raven, bad!

Umm... We'll see about that, but no promises. The character isn't one to find herself in embarassing situations and I hate it when animes make really long scenes in showers (so no weird shower scene from me if I don't like it).

Blarg... the start of the new semester has been crazier than expected... which is why there were no updates to my thread. However, I update with a re-imagining of the first panel in my comic. I would say it's a major improvement over that hunk of junk. Hopefully more on the series later...

Great stuff man! I have a comic character who is very similar, but only because he has a suit. Also, if you made the legs on some of your drawing anatomically correct then you drawings would be pretty much perfect!

I've been working on a couple of 3d models that were requested of me from one of my college cohorts. Here is what I've been able to make so far...

It's a raider craft, the guy wanted a fighter that would "swarm their enemy like angery hornets," and I decided to get a little literal with it, what do you think?
