I don't have T.V., you should be lucky you get that. But back when we did, my family knew better, so I watch the Colbert Report instead. There is where the comedic material is at. The most inappropriate appropriate show ever.

I am not allowed to watch Family Guy y, but I do watch it very often.
As for the overprotection, my parents won't let me do stuff either. They are so overprotective, that if they saw my high school like I do, they would pull me out before you could say "OMG." It can suck, but don't worry; as soon as your a legally an adult, their words are exactly that.

That sucks. Some parents are like that. Mine, they never really cared what I watched. They took me to see rated R films. Think my first one was Lethal Weapon. I watched a lot of tv shows that had cursing and other profanity, but if I'm in public, well...I cant even bring myself to swear.
I guess Im the proof that just because you are exposed to profanity and violence on the media, doesnt mean you will copy cat it in real life.

Family guy up to season 3 was family guy for me. Ounce it came back it was not the same. They brought back too many one show characters instead of making new ones. I guess the fans wanted the pedo and the the pirate with wooden arms and legs back. But it ticked me off i though they were only funny ounce. They also use dumb jokes about in show gags wtf.

My parents don't honestly care what I watch. Apart from porn of course. I'm 14 and they let me hire R18 games and movies without thinking. (I'm 14) though most of the R18/16 things I get are because of violence not horror etc.

really its not much of a loss.
i mean, it has its momments, but for the most part its not worth watching.
the charecters are starting to become really hallow.
and Mcstroke was one of the worst episdoes i've ever seen, i don't know if it was because Fox took a hold of it due to the writers strike or if it just sucked ass, but it was total crap.
