I know that halo 4 will not actually be called halo because the halo series is over, but their will be a sequel to halo 3. This queston goes to those who read the books and saw the ending. What happens when MasterChief goe to the giant metal planet with Cortana? And what is on there I need to know. Also what will it be called like Forerunner or Marathon or sumtin?
Keep it clean! November is awesome.

Well, while the next major installment of the franchise probably won't be called "Halo 4," it's most certainly going to have the word "Halo" somewhere in the title, for the sake of product branding.

Nothing. Halo 3 is the end of the trilogy. Nothing happens after.

It's still Halo, it may not be a sequel, but it's still Halo.

What a shocker. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't have such a great grasp of the concept of capitalism.
Though actually, Bungie has no real authority to confirm or deny Halo games. They don't own the franchise, Microsoft does.

Nah, they're gonna make a sequel or prequel explaining the link between Marathon and Halo. I think it'll be a prequel which would be easiest to explain the Legendary scene.

Actually, I think Bungie completely owns Halo now. Not Microsoft.

Actually, Microsoft "released" Bungie.

To see all the Halo frat boy/casuals/fanboys call this a shit game because it's an RTS and it requires thought. FPS gamers do not like RTS games.

It won't require half as much thought when they're playing against each other.

Until some RTS player/Korean plays.
The Halo fans would be figuring out how to move their units whilst RTS players are building a huge base preparing some powerful weapon that is nearing their small base.

I'm sorry, I was trying to listen but I couldn't hear your valid comments over the sound of HOW LITTLE OF A SHIT I CAN GIVE ABOUT HALO ANY LONGER!
Yeah, the multiplayer is good for a console but they slowly and surely arse rapped the solo till it was a tag on.
Halo 4 - the 'milking the last dime out of the fanboys' by farting in a bag' is my prediction

Nope. Entirely the other way around. Bungie will still probably be the go-to developer for Halo games, but Microsoft can do whatever the hell they want with the franchise. Bungie has zero authority in the matter, unfortunately. That's the business...

Not officially, but there are many marathon symbols and references hidden in the Halo games.

You jealous of the Xbox being so successful?
That's my theory about why PS3 and Wii fanboys flame Gears of War.
