I grew up playing the Sega Mega Drive.

Because when I look at almost all of these threads, it seems like none of you guys have touched anything before the XBOX.

Then I moved onto N64 and moved through the Nintendo family.

My first console was the original PlayStation, which is old-school by today's standards. I did play games before that though, some of my first games were Sonic the Hedgehog and Kirby's Adventure.

I had a Sega Genesis (most notably along with Sonic II) and a PS1 (not with FFVI though, so the whole 'HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT AERIS DIES' thing didn't catch on to me at first glance).

Oh yeah, plus I had a really old computer with the first ever 'Civilization' game made.

First console was the Sega Genesis actually, playing Sonic The Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat, and an awesome basketball game (forget the name). Then I got an SNES and a NES.

I grew up playing that huge wooden version of the Atari. Then I played a SNES until I was 7, I think. Then Playstation (the classic, heavy one), PS2, PC... and that's it, no more evolutions since then.

Although PS3/Xbox360 might come soon...

I grew up playing Mario and Donkey Kong on the SNES and N64. Until I got my Playstation 2, that is. For some reason my N64 doesn't work anymore.

My first game was an arcade copy of NBA Jam in my summer camp. I played some little kid computer games and eventually got a PS1.

I've never owned an SNES but I did grow up with games like SMB, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doom, Duck Hunt, Super Mario 64 and other early games.

Thanks for the sig, carbonwater.

My first console was the N64, followed up by a PS1 a year later or so. I don't really remember the details, but my earliest game-device was the Gameboy classic.

In yellow of course.

Ummm..... if I remember correctly, my first console was the PC. I remember watching my Father play Half-Life 1 when I was about.. just turning 6 or 5.

And I would play little kid computer games like, this Pirate game where you could explore the ship and stuff. I still have it.

My first gaming computer was a Mac when they still called it a Macintosh.

My first system was an NES, so my opinion on console games weighs more than anyone who didn't start with an NES or an Atari.
