Tip: You shouldn't have to. Try to get as hot a signal as you can, then make all of your stuff at an acceptable level. It should hit around +0 without limiting. Or, you can take the more advanced route, and make everything LOWER than it needs, so the boost really brings it back to normal, and isn't more than needed.
Its just fun to listen to remasters vs. the originals of classic rock music. You can really see the differences. It goes from a round-ish sort of thing to a rectangle. The rectangles are what you don't want. Sadly, our ears have been desensitized to it, so its hard for me to tell.
