Yeah, I guess so.. Can't find any submissions under 100kb
What did you think of it though? You didn't seem to really leave any thought on the actual material.

Help it pass through (if you think it deserves it)!
I know it's short, but I thought it was pretty good for my first thing, especially since I've only had the software for less than 12 hours now - I started fumbling around at 11 this morning.
I've never used flash, but prior to getting it, I've been really excited so I watched approximately 4 hours of tutorials.

Im sorry to see it didnt pass judgement... now im anxious to see what it was actually... could you maybe upload it in you dump? that way I could give you some suggestions

Hmm so well, the animation is indeed okay. but as poeple said there is too little of it. try giving it more of a story, maybe a think of a funny joke you know (a short one) or a comic perhaps, and try to animate that.

It's more suitable for an animated gif than a flash submission.
It's just way too short and there is no story.

Haha, yeah. That's actually a good idea, I've been trying to think of something actually entertaining or worthwhile to animate, instead of random violent clips. Thanks for the idea and feedback.

Yeah, I did put it as an animated gif, but it made it really choppy and lame, but I get what you're saying.
Here, I didn't think this was even important enough to keep a .fla copy of, but here's my second violent test.
Ball Face
Now, off to do some real stuff, instead of odd bloody things!!!

Commencing the start of my violent picture upload.
I got a hold of one of those cheap blow pens, and they are REALLY good for violence.
I hope you enjoy, and please give some review on them!

These remind me of those over-the-top violent Japanese movies by Tokyo Shock. These pictures, just like the films, are hilarious.

Thanks! I'll have to look into those films, i've heard of them but never really seen any of it.

This is quite gory and there's no complaint about it. I kind of liked the implide spurting going through his head. When did you start going into that sort of thing?

Well I've been doing people getting their heads blown up and stuff for probably about a year or so now, but I only recently was able to use one of those blowy-pens for the mist. Normally i just do it dot by dot with my pen so it doesn't turn out as good.
Thing is with the blowy pen is that it's not very accurate and i ruined about 6 or 7 drawings by trying to use it when i made all these the other day.

This guy has no legs.
This is probably the most realistic one I did in this set, I like it.
The pools of blood bother me a bit, but I can't really fix it now, so oh well.

If you look at the previous picture from an angle, you can see the pixely show through of the next page's drawing.
I don't really like the person, too anime-y for my taste, but I liked the idea of the picture at least.

My friend did the blood on that one, that's why there's two signatures.
This one is stylized and diagonal and cool, I like it.
It's also the last one really in this set.
There were a few more, but they weren't as good, so I'll leave you with this neatO piece, and update with some moar art later.

My first attempt at nude women!!!
It turned out alright I think, I used a reference and I think I might make this fancier what with photoshop and line tools and whatnot, but we'll see..
Please critique!
I know my anatomy is not perfect, but I'm working on it.

Hells yeah. Spent 9 hours today with my friends making this art, printing 25 of them, cutting them out in a weird cd glove shape, gluing them, putting in the CD's, and stickering them shut. I feel so accomplished. I really am proud of this, so please critique it!!!
Here's the Art Portal link, leave a rating and review!
Also, it was too big when i put the front and back in one file for even the full version in the art portal, so HERE'S the dump version.

Are you posting in the right thread? That's a bit random, but yeah, haha, I'm in the surreal team.

Using tutorials doesn't really make original art, but I learned a LOT about Photoshop from this, so all y'all should take a look at it. Plus it looks shnazzy anyways and would make a cool flyer.
Tutorial I used

Like I was saying in the lounge, use what you have learned from that tutorial to make a more original poster in the future.

I guess if you have an 80's themed party coming up, then you are already half way there to making your own poster.

fringe shift is askew.... you should skew it a bit (free transform>skew) so that it lines up with the tape a bit better.

Super bump!!!
New art. I've been making some stuff but throwing it out, no serious projects for a while or anything.
Anyways, spent a few hours on this. I work slow, but I made it with real paper and stuff originally and then redid it over a scanned version.
Theres a better version found in my art portal which is in my sig.

Actually this is the unedit version as it turns out so the art portal version will be a LOT better.

I also did this on my iPad (twas won in a contest, wouldn't spend 700 on it myself, it has some neat art programs though).
I emailed it to myself but it saved a lot smaller than i would have hoped.
oh well, here's this thing.
i think shes a little disproportionate, no girls are really shaped like this, but i get carried away with the fun swoopy lines and whatnot, so whatever!
if you're wondering why theres a bag over her face, it's cause i cant draw womens faces, so i come up with new excuses to put off learning it.

I've been trying to get into Web Design lately, thats one of the things i want to do as a career.
So i'm a total noob at it so far, but i'm learning and i'm not terrible for a noob.
Heres my website for my future band i'm too lazy to make i mentioned earlier.
its not online or anything it's just a screenshot but yeah.
the middle picture links to whatever i put in there.
i also took both photos.
the middle one has a funny story.
its actually me taking a picture into a curved drinking glass and the light reflected somehow so that it took a picture of the camera.
the thing in the left of the oval is the camera lens!
weird huh?
