...Grandmas house!
Well I've been hearing about these 'mosquito' devices for a while now, they tested them outside some shops somewhere or other.
Essentially the Idea is that they emit a very high-pitched noise which an adult cannot hear, but is a low enough frequency for a child or teenager to detect, it is incredibly annoying and so can be used to deter 'youths' from areas where they may gather to plot their evil plans or whatever.
So, I was walking my grandmothers dog, when I passed through an alley right next to her house, I'm assuming that 'hoodies' or 'louts' or whatever daily-mail induced-stereotype occasionally hang out there , when I heard this thing, It felt like a physical pains, throbbing in my skull, the dog went nuts too, and I had to run out of the alley. I guess that the council had decided to install one of the things.
Now I resent this, essentially I am being treated like a criminal because I fall into a certain category, if they created something that only annoyed say, babies, or black people, There would be uproar. I realise I'm getting dangerously close to the whinging teenager who believes all adults re against him but bear with me.
To me, this is a breach of human rights, being cruel and unusual punishment And I do not think that these devices should be aloud on publicly accessed property.
This is of course not even mentioning the lack of logical thinking in what the devices are designed to do, basically disperse people under a certain age who may cause trouble. If they are going to cause trouble, they will find somewhere to do it, you can hardly put a 'mosquito' in every single public area.
