It can't be, considering the the behavior of people in certain countries has been night and day, and I didn't act any differently. Some places people were rude, especially to Americans, other places people were nice, especially to Americans.

Although my experience in Germany was mixed, the only people I met that were rude were not Americans, but locals.

That was my experience. Germans were nicer on average than the French or the British. However there certainly were bad apples in Germany.

It's actually countries with universal healthcare that value money more than lives considering the reason their survival rates are so much lower is because their government keeps costs down. They have way, way less money put into research and procurement of medical technology than the US to keep costs down, and they have less appointments and less procedures as well. This means not only do people get lesser quality care, but they get a lot less of it in actuality than Americans.

If someone fails in life, they don't have the right to leach off of other people via the government.

I just want to say something that was mention at the very beginning of this topic.

This can't be further from the truth. When I lived in Portland Oregon, I saw several Iraq War protests that encompassed large portions of the city. My ex-girlfriend's school was even let out so the vast majority of the school could join the protests. There is a considerable portion of the the U.S. population that does not and never did support the war in Iraq, this includes veterans from previous wars the U.S. has been involved in.

So to claim that all Americans are evil or ignorant (which it sounds like you are) is very narrow minded of you. I'm not trying to say that America is a beacon of hope and justice, because I don't think it is. I'm just saying it's wrong of anyone to judge a whole population based on the actions of their government.
