Before the Wii and the PS3 came out, I didn't have any next-gen system.
Heck!
I didn't even have a 6th gen system!
But as I struggled to make a decision on which console to get, I supported all three consoles with all of my passion.
First it started with the 360. I was extremely impressed by Oblivion and Call of Duty 2 when it first came out. Now both games visually doesn't look good any more when we compare it to games such as Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Crysis, and Gears of War. But back then these games looked EXTREMELY gorgeous on an HD T.V. I was so amazed when I played CoD2 on a small Samsung HD T.V at an Xbox 360 kiosk at a local Best Buy.
But then my old Sony fanboy heart was re-animated. The first, and only console that I got before my 360 was a Sony Playstation. I was extremely entertained by Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, Final Fantasy 7, and Gran Turismo before my Playstation's AV cables broke and I switched over to a PC to fufill my gaming needs. I was an EXTREMELY crazy PS3 fanboy back then (CHECK MY FIRST FEW PAGES OF MY POSTS) but because it was so expensive at the time, and because I wasn't excited about the PS3's games, I quit my fanboyism as I switched over to the next phase of my gaming fanboyism.
For the shortest amount of time in the full circle, I supported the Wii. I was like, the Wii is only $250, and it doesn't look quite that bad! The motion sensing and huge fanbase convinced me to switch in. However, I care a lot about graphics, and the Wii's titles did not suit my gaming tastes. This later made me switch to an Xbox 360.
The Xbox 360 was best choice for me. I'm very satisfied with my choice, and I enjoy all of the games that are featured on this console.
I don't believe that this is the best console out there, but it's the best console out there for ME.
Now after I went full circle, I now am connected with every fanboy out there, even if I get slightly annoyed by some PS3 fanboys out there who always bashes the games that I enjoy. So even if some guy goes "Wii pwns the PS3 and the Xbox 360" I don't really get angry.
There's a part of each console in my heart.
