I don't know whether this is true, but supposedly deleting users with a lot of stats (posts, flash, etc.) strains the database and slows down the servers for a while or something like that.

This place is the only flash portal large enough for people to get any exposure. Zellomesh really needs to get large enough to get more than 15 views on each flash.

Although I think I should stop posting anything I make anywhere for a while. I made better flash when I didn't release anything.

There should never be an attempt to win TOTW. TOTW is supposed to be someone's honest effort that wasn't appreciated by the NG audience. If you submit something to try and purposely win the award it totally defeats the purpose of having the award, especially if you submit something, then swap the file, or change the title and description to encourage low votes, etc.

Okay. It has traditionally been the spam award though, and that goes all the way back to B. Apparently I missed that announcement, if there was one.

Although I recall some people actually being proud of winning TOTW.

Wade, if I may make a suggestion regarding turd of the week? How about instead of it being based upon the flash's score, create a "nomination" system where users can nominate something for turd of the week, and when it comes to the time of the week where it is time for a new TotW, an admin checks out the highest nominations and selects a deserving one, and not some HENTAI FUCK FUCK XXX etc.

I applaud the user that created that flash you sent me. He didn't aim to get turd of the week, although he still got it. I just don't like the fact that most TOTW winners wanted to get the award. You have 84 flashes, just submit them all on your main while making sure not to make them look offensive, and the system will make sure you don't bypass any submit quotas.

t-t-troll was a kberkag alt and a shitty shared account, although the kberkag days were probably the most fun I've ever had here. especially the ~250 posts I made on kberkag in the few weeks I used that account, and more on t-t-troll.

This creates even more movepool to abuse. Clocks would use its numbers to massnominate (wat), and other people would just proxy or some other shit. Other thing is, that admin would have to watch all the movies before choosing the right one. One thing is, I doubt any admin wants to waste time like that. Second, it wouldn't really depend on users anymore, which kind of sucks.
