Thats what retrogade was for a while. I think the reason for it is that it would take a lot of work to implement and newgrounds has its hands full with other projects at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen in the future though, like 5 years. Don't sit around waiting for it, but who knows. It would be cool.

Because almost nobody on Newgrounds has any art skill, and the art forum exists for a reason.

Because there's so many different styles of art that some art that is actually good would be blammed because it's not a common style.

That's a very good idea, but think of the mentality of the NG users. Hentai and CP (child porn), furry porn, screamer pics, etc. will only be posted there. In short, it'll just turn into a 4chan ripoff. At best, it'll require a LOT of moderation and time to maintain.

Most likely because newgrounds is a website about flash animations and original/remixed audio.
I think the heads of NG are trying to steer away from picture-posting because it has nothing to do with what this site's about.

DeviantArt is a joke. I raided them once with malicious SWFs (infinite popups to minigirls.biz, browser crashing, etc.) with hentai icons and people bitched at me, not for the malicious SWFs, but because of the icons.

I was thinking about this the other day. To be honest, I think that it would be really nice, but like most people are saying, it's really easy to steal art. If we had some good mods maybe. I would like to see an art portal.

yes thers alot that could be bad about it and poepl trying to abuse it with hentai and porn but i sure we could find something in the near future cause i really cant make movies or animations so i make pictures and hilarious things and i have nowhere to put them exept on news posts or art forum
