Gears all the way. The chainsaw is the coolest video game weapon ever. Screw all the people who say "UH YOU have no skill because you used the chainsaw DAR." Chainsawing aliens in half is cool.

I've noticed this thing true. Every time i try to find my friends matches it's impossible... Strange though about few months ago it was possible.

that is an extremly though choice...gears has a better campaign but halo has awesome multiplayer.
i mostly play multiplayer, so i vote halo 3

My vote goes for Halo, not the trilogy, just the first one. The first had a great story and everything was still shiny and new. I found the second and third were sort of the same with just newer weapons. Although Halo online just wouldn't be the same without the 2nd and 3rd one (before I get some smartass telling me there was no online play for Halo, there was on the computer on a 3rd party server). I didn't like Gears at all, story or multiplayer.

Gears, however, is better.

If they put out more maps, it'd be the better multiplayer and single player game.
As it is, they're maybe about the same on multiplayer.

Gears of war! in my opinion its multiplayer is better, and i hink that the graphics are insane. at least on an HD tv.

Halo, just because the multiplayer is soooo much faster. You dont need a 30 min match to kill 10 people like you do in gears.

Gears of War anyday. Most fun I have ever had online.

i played both but i would have to say gears of war AWESOME GAME

Gears of War due to the gameplay being kickass.

Halo is one of those games thats BS all the time. It gets me so angry that I end up quitting for a while.
