fightermarth - you're really good with sprite work and that was a great job with the sandbag piece! Just an idea, but maybe you could make Sandbag flash or flinch each time you hit it -like with how you did the shoryuken? Keep up the good work!

thnx acctually this was my first update, im alot furthur with the animation but i can't really show you my entire part. i finish sandbag off! :D

Just a question, mechanixnut and snowfox - have you guys put the collab together to test it all out yet, just to see if all works? And is there going to be menu buttons, next/previous scene buttons, etc? And what's the extras look like? I didn't see a mention of it skimming backwards, but I did see it in the menu. :D

Not yet I haven't. I will soon though. As soon as Eman finishes and sends his part in.

I am thinking that there might be, just incase people want to skip over. I would have to see what it would look like with the rest of the videos.

It actually looks pretty sweet. It didn't turn out exactly as I intended it to, but it is still good either way. It is also still a bit laggy with the detail, so I need to fix that yet. It will be a secret until the collab is released, so... shhhh.

i got an idea for the bad parts!
make a section in extras for un-used scenes.
this way no one will be left out.
on the authors page they can live in an apartment if you want.

I rather like this idea, but honestly, if the scenes are too poorly made, they'll just take up space in the swf file. There's a filesize limit, you know, and a lower filesize makes it more appealing.

I dont support the "add the cut parts in secret" idea.

To everyone who got his parts cut, please just say this to yourself: "damn, I will try harder next time" and just Learn from your mistakes.

do you think everyone who has started flash or animation was good when they started either? no. In fact, I got my parts cut like a bazillion times before I got what you could call "remotely decent". And I still feel my animation needs a LOT of work.

For me, it is hard to rate/give criticism on most n00bie flashes because I know new guys to flash worked with their cartoons a lot and really tried. I probably spent more time working on my first flashes than the time I spend making toons today.

Thing is guys, that getting the Boot is NOT a bad thing. It is a chance for you to realize your weaknesses and strenghts, and an opportunity to LEARN something. Or just a chance to get all prissy and keep making the same mistakes over and over and over.

These are basic things about life, not so much about animation i.e. flash.

I haven't been here in a couple days, nor have I seen watchmen :( But my friend has and he seyz it portrays the comic very well.

Hopefully Eman finishes up his part very soon so wwe can get this thing finished.
