The guitar is high pitch and annoying. I realise it is supposed to sound 'like a video game', but that is a really shitty concept for metal. Also all of their songs have some shitty fantasy plot. It also pisses me off that 13 year olds dont seem to realise that fast =/= good when it comes to guitar playing.

Being the strongest doesn't make them the best.
I like quite a few of their songs, in fact they're awesome. BUT they're horrible live so that's kinda off-putting because that means that half of their music is studio-enhanced. Still sounds awesome though.

DragonForce is terrible. Being fast doesn't make you good. They just have shitty, fast guitar solos with stupid video game noises and crappy lyrics.

I like Dragonforce. Despite everyone hating Herman Li he actually is a pretty good guitarist. They have stupid lyrics but I really could care less, vocals are just another instrument to me, and for lyrics to be deep is just a bonus, but not required at all. Every musician in the band is very talented regardless of everyone getting pissed because they never slow down.

No, they're tolerable, but they're ridiculously overrated and not all that talented. Also the singer sucks. And for better power metal, check out Sonica Arctica, Manowar, Stratovarius, and Kamelot.

Yep. The guitar work is pretty good on their STUDIO albums.
They suck live, and can't pull off any solos correctly.
