Animated or not, movies are movies.
Wow, Life-Stream, you're missing out on a lot of good movies. There Will be Blood was amazing. Ichi the Killer was an extremely entertaining flick. And the untouchables was quite good.

I guess I'll sit alone in my trashy psuedoexploitation flick corner....
I'm sure I've seen at least one film labelled as such that I enjoyed, but when I think of "exploitation flick" I think of dumb crap like Thriller: En Grym Film or Hanzo the Razor. stuff that's not fun crap, just crap.

God, I need to re-watch JP, haven't seen it in years....I watch it at least once a month. I know all the words.
I'm almost like that with a couple of movies whether or not I've seen them an assload of times. I've probably seen Miller's Crossing about 4 times, but I remember a lot of the lines very well. I was showing it to a friend and I kept talking along with the movie.

Get the Alien Quadrilogy box set.
As far as I'm concerned, the only Alien Titles that exist are Alien and Aliens. I thought both films were awesome, but I didn't like Alien 3, Resurrection, or AVP. I haven't seen the new AVP and I don't plan to.-
Speaking of Aliens, I don't think I've seen one film with Michael Beighn in which his character didn't die. He died in Terminator, Aliens, Tombstone, and Planet Terror. Maybe he lived in NAVY SEALS, but I blocked that piece of shit from my memory.

I should add that to my favs, too. I don't know why it isn't on there.
I think I've seen everything by Chan Wook Park available in the U.S. J.S.A, Oldboy, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Lady Vengeance, and that short film featured in Three...Extremes. They were all good.

The second one is almost as good, because it's got Roland Tembo.
you mean Pete Postlethwate's (SP?) character?
The third one is shit and made of lies and doesn't count.
Yes, it was horrible.
My favorite is the first movie. The second one is okay, I guess.

Has anybody seen Eastern Promises? No spoilers please, just tell me if you thought it was good or bad, and whether it's worth buying on DVD...?
Yes, I have. I've seen most of Cronenberg's movies. I thought Eastern Promises was quite good, but I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting something great.
I should warn you, though. You see Viggo's junk....for a long time.....ugh....

I recommend you Lock Stock and two smoking barrels, and Snatch if you haven´t already seen them.
both kicked ass
As for Mafia movies, Good Fellas and Casino are two really good ones.
of course. great movies.
Speaking of crime films, you people should see State of Grace. It's a really good crime drama with Sean Penn, Robin Wright, Ed Harris, and best of all, Gary fucking Oldman.

Reservoir Dogs is good, too.
