Fat people tend to bug me. Whether they complain about it or not doesn't matter, just looking at them... it's one of those things I have a hard time tolerating.
Like, i'm talking about health-issue obesity, where the skin starts to stretch and tear, develops little bumps in gross places (cellulite) and they sag. And sweat. And STINK. Holy God do fat people stink.
I mean, if you're happy being overweight and you don't care - power to you. Doesn't affect me. Your choice, right? Like, Kalibur up there said he was a bit of a tubby. If he's fine with it and doesn't want to change, who am I to bad mouth him for it?
I just think that there should be some sort of standard for people.
My dad has a friend who is hugely overweight. His wife is too. they both lead very sedentary lives and enjoy fried foods and take out. I once asked them how much they spent on fast foods a month, and she said "we calculated that once... It comes to around 1-2 hundred a month."
I mean, 'he' has PTSD from his overseas military trip, and she is just too busy to find any real time to hit the gym.
I think it's going a little far when you make character judgements based on weight. These are two people worth knowing. They just have issues.
But good for you that you're taking charge in your life, you know? A lot of people don't do that. Good for you :)
Wow that was a lot of text to say nothing.
Do you go running at all, or biking?
