Whats this? A running cycle you say

Why hello all there. Im starting to consider myself as a decent animator, and thought it was time to raise my standards for full running cycles. I made this in about an hour.
Any suggestions before i add more detail? Comments? Random statements?

That was a pretty good run cycle, but I think it would be better if it flowed a little better. At the end there is a little time that it stops and it kind of ruins it

It doesn't look natural. His back is too straight. His legs seem to "Stretch" forward when he runs.

That might be an effect caused by the fact that i started this cycle planning to only do legs.

Mmm. It might just be my computer, but the gap i see isn't really big enough to attract to much attention. I'll look a bit more.

Nevermind, I just watched it again and it doesn't have that anymore

Arms move a bit too fast and stop for a bit too long. Just make the body diagonal and it'll look right. Other then that, not bad.

First one: His arms aren't in synch with his legs.

Second one: He looks like he's marching.

yea, sync arms with legs in first one, and maybe lean the back forward a little bit, add a bit of a bounce in his step too, you could just tween his upper body up and down or something? Looking good though. Maybe watch a video for reference? Someone on a running machine or something :3

I saw a guy run like that today. My mate made a comment about him running homosexually. So if you wanted to get that effect, then it does exist in reality.
