YouTube Recognition?

I've recently made a stop motion which is way to big for newgrounds. I put it on You tube and got my friends to watch it and comment. But the vid was not noticed by anyone. I did a search for my video (suicide) but my animation was not on the list.
Newgrounds has no such problem being that it has such a great system for new content, but how can you get a youtube video noticed?

I thought it was funny. I told my friends to do stuff like that so i could attrackt noobs hoo would take it seriously.
