did they buy the wallet and do they pay your rent and do they feed you AND do they ever loan you money? if you anwser yea to any of those then i would most certanly not call the cops because you would be getting kicked out of the house promptly, if you say no to each of those then you may as well live on your own and get your money back...

Im not sure whats so wrong with calling the cops, you don't have to call him a jerk if he does that... Thats pretty true, the cops really don't do anything if its not something like robbery or murder. If its something pretty small, there will be NO court order. I dont know why they do that though...

-call the police, You are your own man, you can make your own decisions.
-Ask them why, and tell them that you saw them do it. Or you will call the cops on them.
-Steal back from them. I suggest not doing this though.
If you want to do something that doesnt involve the money. Then find something and blackmail them with it, for example, I see many threads saying they found their mom's dildo...
