Also known as EPIC MANLY TEARS DAY, when all true men, all real men who know in their hearts, and in their burning spirits, just what it means to be a man, to live and die as a man, will stand up, one fist clenched before them in salute, and shed EPIC MANLY TEARS!
Farewell Kamina. You were too bold, too bright, dare I say it, too beautiful to live in such a base and hurtful world as this. You showed us the light, and then you went to be one with it. You burned out too bright, but your star will shine all the longer for it, and those of us you left behind will forever remember not to believe in you who believes in us, but to believe in ourselves, to kick reason to the curve, and pierce the heavens with our drill.

FAIL.
It's actually 19/5, I though you made up a date when I looked here, I was thinking, "Since when where there 19 months?!", but yeah, I guess you can't help getting it the wrong way.

Actually, 19/5 makes more sense. When you say it out loud, you say "the 19th of the 5th/May". Not that backwards.
We in Ireland use 19/5

Then how come I've never heard of him? Surely a guy who did something like that would be more recognised?
And yes, I know it's all a lie.

Not in the United States, we would say todays date as May (the) 19th, which is why we write it as MM/DD/YY(YY).

But still, it does make more sense to write it DD/MM/YYYY, since you in all other systems always write down the smallest part first. Actually are there any countries except the US that write months first?

Canada occasionally does, Philippines, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
YYYY/MM/DD is the format that makes the most sense because if you write it simply as a string of numbers (20080519 for today's date) it is easier to sort dates. And in other systems you always write the largest part first (think about height, weight, etc) so that format makes sense in that aspect too.
You do realise that not one of us gives a fuck about anime and you doing this makes you look like a massive idiot?
