LEFT-
Looks better. You need to bring more attention to your eyes, which have lost their effect since adjusting the photo. Mask out your iris in your eyes, add a hue/contrast adjustment layer (bottom of the layers tab, looks like a circle half white, half black), turn contrast and lightness up slightly (don't overdo it though). You might need to reapply the highlights afterwards, but you will have to see how it looks first. If they are still to dark, set the color mode for the adjustment layer to either screen or color dodge and drop the opacity until it looks ok. Also, the red text is too dark against the background, try more red-orange and lighter. If that doesn't work put a hairline white stroke on it. The sphere on "do the test" needs to be brighter. There needs to be a lower highlight, and the upper highlight should have a subtle gradient so it begins to fade into the sphere as it gets toward the middle of it (look at this for reference: http://www.sphere-designs.co.uk/). Change the text on do the test to white, and bring all text layers to the top so they are not affected by photo adjustment layers.
RIGHT- I like this composition, but text placement needs work. Green is not working try a different color. (also break that into 3 lines and left justify). "Comes with free bag" should be slightly below the heading, right justified. Try using either Myriad Pro or Arial Bold for your font, and decrease the point size until the left side lines up with the H in Douche. Also find something to put on the right side to take up some of the empty space. As far as the photo goes, my only complaint is that you can see white stuff in the hair where you cut the background. Use a low opacity eraser (10% or less) and make several strokes from the hair outward at the edges to get rid of this problem. If you really want to you can do the same thing to the levels that I suggested earlier, but it really isn't as necessary as it was with the other one.
