Now, without all the extras, as in non required parts, this is the total cost for these components:
$1,989.99
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q9550 (I can go with the 2.5 and shaze off $260)
- 4GB DDR2-800MHz dual channel SDRAM
- 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT
- 750 Hard Drive
- 22" Monitor
With the extra things (Speakers, software, keyboard, etc), it comes up to about $2300.
Now, in case I am unsatisfied with my video card, I COULD just sell it, and get a 8800 GTX, right?
I want to know how much I am being ripped.

It's the HP d5000 customized with said specs. Even the base config is pretty cheap, but not strong enough.
