Not supporting the USA in the war in Iraq is one thing, but this is going to far! Paris's mayor has made Abu-Jamal an honorary citizen! He's a COP killer! Do the French like making heroes out of our worst criminal offenders? I say fuck the French, and if there are any French citizens on here why do you allow your dumb ass governmental officials to pull this bull shit?! How do you think the Cop's wife who was widowed at the age of 24 feels about her husband's murder being made an honorary fucking citizen of Paris?! It's a shame more French people didn't die in their heat wave, like the whole fucking government. This is just ridiculous.
"Abu-Jamal, perhaps America's most famous death-row inmate, was convicted of shooting Faulkner, 25, early in the morning of Dec. 9, 1981, after the officer pulled over Abu-Jamal's brother who was driving the wrong way down a one-way street.
A scuffle ensued and Abu-Jamal, who was sitting in his taxicab across the street, ran over. Prosecutors said Abu-Jamal drew his .38-caliber revolver and fired, hitting the officer in the back. They said that Faulkner turned and fired, hitting Abu-Jamal in the chest, and that Abu-Jamal then shot Faulkner in the face."

Are you kidding?????? I hope you are. Have you even looked at the facts behind the case. The bullet was different than the gun that they found on him. He went in to break up a struggle between the cop and his brother. I cant remember it all and I also have a huge project to work on. So I will be back later with links if you want.

I guess the French celebrate people who kill our COPs? At least that's the image their government is giving when they pull shit like this.

You're right Wade! I'm not American but I can still recognize injustice! There's something which stinks about it! France must be with Iraq trying to destroy the USA! Poor girl by the way, I can understand her...

well...they ARE stinky hairy frogs....who speak a stupid language with fifty different meanings for a word spelt exactly the same but with different little squigglies above the letters...i guess theyre just pulling a "haha! stupid america can't hurt us because we're allies and theyre stupid! i fart in your general direction!" and theyre gross and stupid....maybe im discriminating against the franks, but i always thought they were weird...besides, making an honorary citizen out of one of our biggest death-row criminals seems like an ultimate "fuck you"...seems that way to me. and we won't do anything to france ever, unless they join some middle eastern country or something....maybe they forgot that we saved their stinky, hairy asses out of two world wars...those damn frenchies are always the first to fall in those wars...big pussies...seems to me....but im just a big stupid american.

hmm i understand where your comming from wade, but...just because the french govt does one thing, doesnt mean that the french people themselves are to blame entirely, im not backing the french on this either, in fact i think its a load of crap that they didnt support the usa and britan in the war on iraq, but at the same time, the govt seems to have the last word, and you know there were at least a good amount of french people that wanted to support usa and britan. any way you put it the french do seem to keep fucking up, but there is a fine line between govt desicions and the decisions of the people of the country and putting down the people becuase of something the dumb ass govt does isnt really fair...

Sounds like one big conspiracy theory to me. If there was clear cut evidence he didn't do it he wouldn't be in jail. The French obviously don't have the facts to determine if he's innocent or guilty, so what business do they have making him an honorary citizen?

He was a member of the Black Panther movement, and ran a radio show protesting cop violence.

Insult the man man, not his language. Many other country talk French, even I! But I can't tolerate their accent!

If you lived outside america and saw the shit done in our names would you like us? This was the choice of a few people, not an entire country. In the ideal situation leaders reflect their population but that stoppend happenening a long time ago.

i was more or less just spitting out anything about the french that i thought was stupid. there's too many accent marks in their language. why couldn't it be as simple as english? or even spanish?

You're right when you say that learning French is hardest than English or Spanish. (There's only 3 accent BTW.) I sure understand you, when you see shit like this, want to insult everything on the country. But like other people said, it's only few people opinion and not French's opinion.

When did I celebrate the people who died in the French heat wave? I was saying to bad the government didn't die in the heat wave as they let all their people die in it and continue to fuck us over left and right.

I've always wondered though (as i'm not big on following politics) where all this animosity between you Americans and the French stems from. It obviously goes back farther than the war in Iraq (though it didn't help the relationship any).

I never really had any ill will towards the French. The thing with Iraq was kinda lame, but this thing with making murderers honorary citizens is just nuts. I'm not saying all the French people are to blame, but it does reflect poorly on them that they allow their public officials to pull this shit. That mayor should no be re-elected. What would happen if Bush made Hitler an honorary American citizen? Maybe throw Stalin in the list too?

God Dammit! What the hell is wrong with those French bastards. Before I disliked them, but now, I'm really starting to hate them. Making a murderer an honorary citizen is fucked up!

OK, I exaggerated what you said and I apologize.
Anyways, Some religious nut wants a statue of a gay guy that was murdered that says "Entered Hell (date)". Now Iwouldn't be surprised if Europe or other nations reflect that off of all Americans?

I won't even get into the whole Mumia thing, but the vast majority french ARE SEVERELY FUCKED UP.
Here's a story about unpleasant French (almost a redundancy) I was at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, and I was trying to get a look at this exhibit behind a glass door, and there's THESE TWO PRICKS SPEAKING FRENCH IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. Not even looking at the exhibit, just standing there like fucking morons.

Your right, the american style would have been to arm him and then hope he only killed cops we didn't like. The history of tension between the nations is discussed in detail here. http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic.php?id=89539
they helped you with the british and gave you a statue. then they dont fight in a "war" against a country who owes them money and you make freedom fries. they've got alot more right to complain about you then you do them.

Well, I didn't mean that you personally hate the french, but the general feeling I've always got is that a lot of Americans view the French as snivelling little cowards and pansies, while the French view you as uncouth warmongers. (like I said, thats just how i see it, though i may not be one to talk as I'm not a member of either party and don't follow world politics)
