I can't figure out why my most recent mp3's are considered "invalid" when I try to post them on the Audio Portal.

They're all sampled at 44.1 kHz

And all under 8 MBs

so ummmmmmmm what else is left.

I'm using an Audio Save off of Finale PrintMusic, but I've used that program before with no difficulties.....did I miss something obvious?

I really have no idea why thats happening. Maybe if you wait a while and try again, or you could download a converter and convert it to something else then back to mp3 (I really have no idea if that would work, I'm just throwing some ideas out there)

Don't listen to zaporzan, that won't work. YOu need to import the mp3 into audacity and check to make sure it's at 44.1 khz. It shows up as 441000 hz. Then export it as an mp3 then resubmit it

Are you sure its MP3 and not WAV? Perhaps it appears as MP3 but its a WAV file, I had that problem some time ago, I recomend you a simple but very usefull converter check it out: ITS FREE!

some programs tend to save extra data, non audio (like bpm, what program was used to make, different markers ... etc) and that could be the problem
i had the same with FL saving loop markers, those files were invalid for NG and also my media player couldn't play (i could listen those only with winamp)
for me the solution was to import those into CoolEdit and save again without extra data
