Can people advertise their flash movie's in the flash forums. I remember that there's a forum place in the audio section made specifically for advertising your music, well how does it work here?

There's no reason why you couldn't link to it in your sig or sig pic. It may not be quite as successful, but you can definitely boost your views and even spread the word if you do it right.

Anyway, there should be specific threads for advertising floating around the forums... not sure if there is one for flash though...

Pretty sure there isn't although someone did make a thread not too long ago for 'underrated flashes', those which don't get the attention they deserve.

In my opinion, 99% of the time if your flash is any good it'll get the attention it deserves and there isn't a need to advertise it. If you have to advertise it then it probably isn't good anyway.

Yes, that's what I've done in my sig as well. Links to my submissions (along with a link to one of my favourite flash).
