Best 25 Final Fantasy Songs Ever!

Hello patrons of the video game universe. You guys probably knew this was coming eventually, it's time for you long time fans of one of the most epic RPG series in history to decide your absolute favourite Final Fantasy songs. Since there are so many of them, you must think hard.

First things first, establishing the ground rules.

Choose your top TEN favourite Final Fantasy songs

I mean, even though it says "Best 25" that doesn't mean you should choose 25 of them. This is merely a voting thread, and once all of the votes are in then I'll declare it in a new thread.

Also...

Only choose Final Fantasy songs

Pretty obvious, but if the game doesn't have the name Final Fantasy in it's title than it doesn't belong. So, no Kingdom Hearts or Chrono Trigger songs, even though they do have great soundtracks, it won't do. Also, don't forget to cite which game your favourite songs are from.

Not nearly enough FFIX songs. Anyway, I'll give it a go...I have most of the soundtracks on my CPU.

I don't really think I can list them in order, so I'm just going to list the 25 songs that I can think of that I like the best. (Also, it's too bad you aren't including Chrono Trigger/Cross in this list, cause there are some GREAT songs on both those CDs)

5. Protecting My Devotion (FFIX) Seriously, this song is AWESOME.
6. Terra ( FFIX) BEST SONG IN THE GAME
7. Bran Bal, The Village Without Souls (FFIX) Softer version of Terra, still very good.
8. You're Not Alone! (FFIX) Another really good song, probably second best....
9. Theme Of Love (FFIV)
10. Main Theme (FFIV)
11. Into The Darkness (FFIV)
12. Shadow's Theme (FFVI)
13. Celes' Theme (FFVI)
14. Terra's Theme (FFVI)
15. Aria de Mezzo Carattere (FFVI) [The Opera Song]
16. Another World Of Beasts (FFVI) I dunno, I kinda like it, reminds me of Chrono Trigger a bit...
17. Wind Crest ~ The Three Trails ~ (FFX-2) Probably the only song I like on this soundtrack...

Thanks for contrubuting, and yes FF7's has some great song, just it's a little overated, personally, 5 and 6 assrape it. But, since you ACTUALLY 25 songs I'll guess I'll have to count the first 10. If that's okay. I made it pretty clear about that :/

Fair enough, and it's true, I really, really could get some people to contribute to the thread. Which is why I put it in the sig. I mean, People do like Final Fantasy, and feedback about the music is usually positive. Except when you factor in a few features. Like the number of people who vist this forum, and the majority of the BBS being complete idiots. Oh well, might aswell roll with the punches so to speak.

Actually, that song was recorded by Rammstein, the metal song you're talking about. It's pretty badass.

add the decise battle themes from each, take the last boss themes and then add some messenger of destruction, some battle on the big bridge, you're not alone, the landing, one winged angel and jenova from advent children, add a few more occasional ones, add the final seymour battle...how many is that so far?
