Do you think there would've been a difference concerning the foreign policy concerning the attacks on 9/11 and the turmoil in the Middle East? Remember Bush have been ripped for those so do you think Gore's reaction would've been different or the same?

I personally think Gore would of done the samething Bush has done. Given his record, there's no indication he's anymore of a peacelover than W.

Gore is everybit the oil man that Bush is. Furthermore, he was VP all through the 1990s...the whole time we were engaged in hostilities (albeit less than full occupation). I think the occupation would have been a little different since that is where the real political management would occur. But judging from the Clinton/Gore's expert and inspired handling of the Somalia operation...

Yeah but they never actually occupied a country. Believe it or not, there's a world of different between striking a nation and taking out their entire government and taking essentially sole responsibility for replacing it.

The gap between Bush and Gore is huge. Although I'm a little irked that Gore isn't really a scientist but he keeps sort of acting like he is one, although he was stationed with engineers in Vietnam so that might have given him the right mindset.

Yeah, I'd say this post is a bit on the fiction side, but oh well we can say what we think would've happened even if we will never know.

I think 9/11 wouldn'tve happened, the govenrment wouldn'tve started the war to pony up money for their globsl dimination scheme, the space program that would be used for the direct pinpointing of nuclear bombs hitting within minutes.

Yep, I thinkt hings would have been alot differen't if Bush n cheny hadn't fucked the world up.

9/11 truth NOW!!!

that should have been rated R for excessive gore. HAHA I made funny.
Anyways. If gore had been elected Republicans would probably be yelling "You call us violent. You took us to war without any evidence for the sake of controlling oil interest."

Irrelevent. It was a huge expense keeping squadrons in Saudi and Turkey as well as a carrier battlegroup in the Gulf. It was a drain on resources that needed to be resolved. Furthermore, we started building permanent bases outside of Iraq (Qatar) under their administration. Furthermore, in 1999 Clinton came exceptionally close to invading because of Saddam's shenanigans. Finally, the intelligence we had saying he had WMDs and was in violation UN resolutions was obtained and briefed to the president and VP during the Clinton administration.

In short, we really were geared towards invading Iraq regardless of who won. Clinton/Gore set the stage for invasion for the next president.

So yeah, we would have still invaded Iraq especially after 9/11.
