I'm on my Wii, now I am playing Mario Kart Wii and the nunchuck is connecting, but whenever you try to use it in a race, it doesn't move, nor do the weapons button work either, which is located on the nunchuck controller.

If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening and a way to fix it that will be great!

(I have tried reseting it and doing the hole unplugging thing has not worked)

You're too far away from the thing giving signals to the controller making you unable to use the controller during gameplay. Move closer to the console, slightly.

Quit being a prick and use the wheel,it's way better anyways. If you're going to be obstinate then just check your sensor bar,cords,etc.

you might be too close to the signal bar thing that picks up your movements, etc etc. just like you can also be too far away for the signal to reach.

it could be a number of things, it could be a low battery, bad nunchuk, bad game, motion sensor problem, or if ur tv and game are close to a window the sun may be intercepting the invisible light connecting the wii-mote to the censor,if u still cant get it right u can play with the gamecube controller
