Arnold: 70% of the votes
Everyone else: 0% of the votes
Undecided: 30% of the votes
Arnold got a landslide victory!
You know what this means...
CALIFORNIA IS ABOUT TO GO INTO ANARCHY!!! Arnold has about as much knoledge as a govener as a Geno has the knoledge of anything else besides the color grey. Arnolds training consisted of 2 hours of playing "Simcity 4" every week.
If you live in California, pack up all your valuables and exit the state NOW!!!
to see the ACTUAL SPEECH, go see "Taco Man for Govener". Click here if you wanna save the time and go there immidietly.

If Jesse Ventura could be elected governor of Minnesota, then maybe we shouldn't be surprised.

I wonder if it ever once crossed one of Arnold’s constituent’s minds to use that for a campaign poster?
Oh, and Arnold hasn’t won yet. It may very well happen, but it is theoretically possible Bustamante may pass him. As for McClintock & Camejo, well, it’s too late.

LOL, Well personally I dont think Arnold is going to be governor really, I mean seriously his advisers are going to be governor and tell him what to do, which isn't bad cus than we got a bunch of people being governor instead of one. I think he is just there for the image in some sense. But like people say he may come as a surprise as governor, but time will only tell..

Hold up!! I have developed tremendous respect for Jesse Ventura. Jesse, unlike Arnold, did not rely on other people to put words in his mouth. I've listened to him. The more i listened to him, the more I understand why he got elected. Jesse would kick Arnold's ass in a debate.
Speaking of Arnold, he's making his victory speech right now, having Jay Leno introduce him. That's Arnold. All glitz and glamour to cover up the fact that he has no substance. He got elected on Hollywood catchphrases and my family bought into it (they all vote for Arnold... except me).
That said though, I'd have a hard time imagining him doing worse than Davis. As much as I don't like Arnold (in the politcal sense), I dislike Davis more. I wish I didn't have to think so negatively of Arnold, but when you see puppet strings, things don't look so brightly.

I wonder if anyone out there remembers a particular scene in Demolition Man (frankly I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't) where Sandra Bullock mentions the 'Arnold Schwarzenegger Presedential Library'.
Was this just a wry slice of ironic wit from a bored writer or a stunning premenition from an unsung genius? We wait with baited breath.

the schwarzenegger amendment in (may be the wrongyear) 2016, allowing anyone citizen NOT natural born also to be president. (i agree with it)
back to the future predicted miami would win a world series (1997 marlins win it, they have a chance again, AGAINST THE CUBS (granted its to play IN the world series but still)) spooky

i think it's a great victory over PC madness of recent decades (political correctness gone krazy)
It's a victory for smokers rights.
It's a victory for gun lobbyists.
It's a victory for big fossil-fuel guzzling vehicles.
It's a victory for masculinity and femininity.
It's a victory for personality over pedantics.
It's a victory for wealth and philanthropy.
It's a victory for the hollywood dreamfactories.
It's a victory for the global cultural melting pot and youth-culture.
It's a victory for can-do kickass-ness.
you don't even have to agree half of these issues to still appreciate the momentous swing this will have on the global conciousness, and on the rest of this decade which had started off so very very badly for so very many people.
to be honest, it's the best news the world has had for quite a while! :)
GO GET'EM ARNIE!!!

This is one of the most pathetic events in recent American history, except Florida, of course. Explain to me how a groping Austrian with a Nazi father and no open political stance being elected anything is good. First off, the whole recall thing was stupid. Take responsibility for your votes people. Second off, he is a goddamn actor with no political experience. WTF? And the Californians actually voted for him. I think you guys have reclaimed the title of most fucked up state in the Union. Congratulations.

why do you have to totally miss the point??
some 15 women claim he's a male chauvinist pig for expressing interest, merely as a guy with a healthy level of tesosterone. Prolly half of which have no proof kos they fantasized of him in their dreams.
Meanwhile, 100 million womaen worldwide could only dream of being groped by such a male hunk.

Right now CA doesnt need a politician, they need a business man who can get the job done, which is exactly what Arnold is. He when you were a kid and some kid beat you up, you wished Arnold would come save you, now he has come to save CA from the big bad debt bully.

Business, Fame, Success, and Profit all go hand-in-hnad! Think NIKE!
I can't think of 1 occasion where Arnie failed to do what he set out to do... and as people are pointing out; he can't do much worse than 38 BILLION DOLLARS deficit that so-called "career politians" have left him with.

So your telling me that his comments about Hitler aren't related to his father being a Nazi? Please. I was half-joking about the groping bit. I know those ladies never would have come out, if it ever occured, if he wasn't running.

ok, first about family ties;
"George W. Bush's grandfather helped finance the Nazi Party.
The Bush family ties to the Nazi party are well known. In their 1994 Secret War Against the Jews, Mark Aarons and John Loftus use official US documents to establish that George Herbert Walker, George W. Bush's maternal great-grandfather, was one of Hitler's most important early backers. He funneled money to the rising young fascist through the Union Banking Corporation.
In 1926, Walker arranged to have his new son-in-law, Prescott Bush---father of President George Bush I, grandfather of George Bush II---hired as Vice President at W.A. Harriman and Company. Prescott became a senior partner when Harriman merged with a British-American investment company to become Brown Brothers Harriman. In 1934 Prescott Bush joined the Board of Directors of Union Banking.
The bank helped Hitler rise to power. It also helped him wage war. As late as July 31, 1941---well after the Nazi invasion of Poland---the U.S. government froze $3 million in Union Banking assets linked to Fritz Thyssen. Thyssen was noted in the American press as a "German industrialist and original backer of Adolph Hitler." "
..now i haven't heard Bush denounce anyone but those that his own father's government also funded, armed, and trained, with weapons and secret intelligence to fight against Russia and Iran.
As for Arnie, i've only heard him say in no uncertain terms (ABC interveiw just before the election) that "I totally denounce what Hitler stood for, I totallty denounce what the Nazi party stood for, and I totally denounce what the Third Reich stood for"
That, to anyone, is as clear as can be stated. What are you suggesting? ..that Arnie is somehow Anti-Semitic??
And i don't understand the "set out to do" or "told to do" stuff either.. Psuedoname, could you elaborate.

Are you talking about the 28th amendment with allowing people not orginally from American background become Preisdent?
I heard it's in both houses at the moment where The House has something like
You have to be a citizen of the Untied States for atleast 10 years while the Senate has something like you had to be a citizen for a total of 35 years!!! Wow, but I guess it's better than nothing, it's probally going into Joint committe to make it compromise but oh well it looks promising we will probally have a 28th amendment in the near time future.
I hope that is what you were talking about cus than I would be wasting my time. But if you seen "Demolition Man" Arnold. S is preisdent of the United States, and that was possible by the 28th amendment or what not, or atleast I think or what not, so yah I am guessing that's what you are talking about..

It isnt the least bit surprising that arnie won, after all he is famous and had tonnes of publicity, and as it's such a strange situation non voters decided to vote for him for a laugh.
Simple really. If i was american and a massive movie star i bet i could easily become president.

So what? Do you realy think that governator is a job where you need to be smart? I say that even Jim Cary(spelling?) could be a governator. It's just a representative job- the real people that influential are his advisors and familiars.

Dredd. There is no way you are going to tell me that Arnold is a halfway decent politician.
Think about it. Arnold didn't set out to do any of these things he has stated. Personally I believe Arnold is a puppet for the Republicans to keep control in California. They knew that if some regular guy would have run for them, they would have lost. So they bring in a name, pump him full of words, and voila. Republican in office.

right, a healthy level of testosterone. as in, geeking yourself out on steroids every day for 30 years is a healthy amount of testosterone. i'll remember that next time someone i know gets put up on trial from sexual harrasasment or rape. just say "well, your honor, it should be legal, because i have testosterone, and i couldn't help but club her on the head and fuck her in the middle of a dark alleyway." "or, gee, i don't think it's fair that i shouldn't grab my bosse's ass and call her a bitch. she shouldn't even be my boss, she doesn't have as much testosterone" that's like saying it's ok for women to assault peole, because they have their periods. hmmmmm....
not that i give their allegations any more weight than a bag full of hydrogen, but he has been documented say sexist and chauvanistic things, and that's just stupid that you would think that's acceptable. if he was being racist it would be a whooooole different story
Meanwhile, 100 million womaen worldwide could only dream of being groped by such a male hunk.
ew, please don't speak for me. now i'm going to have nightmares. something tells me you're REAL secure with your own sexuality to say something like that. that's seriously fucked up.
btw, ladies, would you like to have sex with a guy whoes testicles are two different sizes?
It's like U wouldn't have even been born if your caveman ancestor hadn't groped your cavewoman ancestor
what does that have to do with anything? just groping a chick in public isn't going to cause anyone to be born, it's just going to humiliate her. by the way, we aren't cavemen. did you know that?
(..or been gay or lesbian and unable to addopt children ;)
that made no sense, and i'm going to pretend that you never said it.
and What the HELL does Arnies father have to do with anything?? Can't a child learn from the mistakes of family members??!?!
they can, but there's no gauruntee. when he did that interview it sure didn't sound like he'd learned anything. maybe he has learned. i'd like to see him do an impromptu debate with al franken about that and some other things. that would be swell.
