I love the slo- motion ending of the gun being tossed to you, in may be cliche in movies but god dammit it was so epic when you do it. the slow motion gun shot really put icing on the already delicious cake. Though I honestly think that it would have ended better if you died instead of help coming.

Descent 2. Material Defender (Yes thats the character name) has just destryoed Tycho Brahe and escaped sucessfully. As he engages the warp drive to come home, it malfunctions because of a signal from the very corperation that sent him out. Seems someone doesn't want him back. Leaves a great cliffhanger for Descent 3, which is the end of the sieres.

You're not the only ones. I played and loved that game. Too bad I never got the chance to replay it a second time.

Anyway, my favourite ending for a game would be:

Gears of War: It's not really a good ending or anything spectacular at all but the way they ended was pretty cool. It was a good lay-up for a sequel and was a satisfactory ending to the first game.

I'd have to go with MGS 3. That's probably one of the only games where the cutscenes actually seem more like a movie than a game. The ending was real good as well. Bit long, but good.
