I need a storyline for a flash but I can never think of one and if I do think of one it usualy would require art skill I don't have. Is the any ways to help create a storyline. I'm not sure what NG wants to see.

Anything with a captivating plot to it, something where you really need to see what's going to happen next, not just something boring (like some of my submissions). Try to keep the element of surprise in your stories, something unexpected is always recieved well by audiences, as long as it's not just a giant dick popping out of a box or something (though that seems pretty funny to me...).

if your thinking of short story sort of thing, i would use Todorov's narrative theory which comes in 5 stages:

1) a state of happiness / equilibruim
2) a disruption in the equilibrium
3) a recognition of the disruption
4) an attempt to restore the equilibrium
5) a return to the first state

also, i often make ones that are just creative bursts when i want to animate, e.g. Gravity's Just A Theory
