I'd suggest a PS3. Sure it costs way more, but you have to buy a lot of shit to play games for the 360. In the end, it wouldn't be too much of a difference in price of all the stuff you buy once you get a good number of games.

And best of all, the PS3 isn't falling.

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears Of Wars, Oblivion.

Agreed Bioshock and crackdown personally were fantastic

First off this is about the XBOX360, not the PS3, or Wii or PC or whatever, so enough of how, "oh well that game will come out to PC and it'll be better than the 360 version" or "The PS3 version is better than the 360 version"

Now going back on topic, heres a list of why to get the 360, and note these are in no particular order
1. Grand Theft Auto IV
2. Halo 3
3. Call of Duty 4
4. Bioshock
5. Gears of War (and the sequel to it is on the horizon)
6. Xbox Live (One of the best online services)
7. Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Vegas 2
8. Lost Odyessy
9. The Orange Box
10. Mass Effect
11. Army of Two
12. Rock Band
13. Guitar Hero 3
14. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
15. Xbox Live Arcade (A fun little add-on, though some of the games are very mediocre)

P.S. I'm not knocking the PS3 or Wii, because I'm contemplating getting a PSP and a Wii

If you arent already into Halo3 then thats probably not a selling point for you.

Gears is pretty overrated. I think its appeal was only because it came out so early.

GTAIV is good if you like GTA games (though I think San Andreas was the best one so far).

Bioshock is alright. I havent got to play it much (just the demo on the PC but still good).

I played Lost Planet on the computer (notice a trend here) and I didnt like it (another trend).

Orange Box was decent. I dont like TF2 but Im a huge HL2 fan. Portal was witty and neat. (only played on computer)

Assassin's Creed is good if you like pretty stuff but a lot of talking and repetitive gameplay. (only played on computer)

Here is the XBox 360 game catalog. I just jumped you to page 5 because all the games before that suck ass.

Orange Box- IS a kick ass game, and i don't care what anyone says, it doesn't matter which system you buy it on... Hands down, you NEED to play this game, no question. If you like Shooters, Action, Kick-Ass Story, Dark Humor, Mulitplayer Madness, and just ultimately feeling like you got your money's worth, get this. It could have been priced at $120 dollars, and i would have bought it. Paying $50 for all 5 is a steal...

Dead Rising- A similar "classic" game. The only game that i found Bloody, Funny, and action packed all in one. (And the Adam the Clown boss's ending is just plain disturbing)

Crackdown- As the name suggests, this takes the sandbox demolition of the GTA series, and makes it smoke "Crack" (Bad pun). I would reccomend if you play GTA ONLY for the random destruction...

Halo 3- Yes, this may be out a FEW years on PC, but even if it is, most of the Online buzz will be gone for this game, redering online play in the PC no where near as good as it is now..

Gears of War- Probably one of the more strategic games (moreso than Halo3). This is more on the realistic side, and has a much more dedicated fanbase. It seems people migrated from Halo 3 to Gears Pretty Quickly.

Xbox Live Marketplace Demos- Why is this getting a spot? Because it allows you download a demo for virtually any game that's released. Which allows you to get a taste for new games to see if you should buy it, or just rent it from a friend... It also allows you to test drive some Arcade games, some of which are Exclusive to XBL.

Get a PS3, and I only need to say one thing to end the thread.

I'm considering getting one for MGS4 and Tekken 6 alone as I recently discovered that Tekken Is so much better than Soul Calibur.
