Yeah, but there's a lot of striped hand stocking things floating around in those pics too.

I mean, yes, several people are totally wearing surgical gloves. However, many others have, what for all intents and purposes, appear to be... socks. On their forearms, with open cuffs for their hands to come out... but still. They do kinda look like Pippy Longstockings.
