anyone here knows a cross-browser alternative to new ActiveXObject("WScript.Shell"); of IE ?

It's for a interesting concept i'm trying to implement, that I call "My Sountrack", which allow players of flash game to create a custom playlist in iTunes that will be used as the game's soundtrack...

imagine for example Newgrounds Rumble, but with background music that you chose in your iTunes...
