You see, the thing is, I haven't been trying to say who's country is better, only trying to remove the idea that every single Canadian is a "brainwashed, biased idiot". But of course that's so true that I'm obviously a Borg drone.

You know what, I give up. Go ahead and gloat about how your "superior facts and logic" were obviously better all you want. Because that's not why I've given up.

You are the kind of person that cannot be argued with.

Funny, I have the facts on my side. Have you provided any evidence of any kind to back up your claim or to counter what I provided?

Because no matter what someone says, does, or thinks, it will not change your mind.

Um, rather it doesn't matter how much bullshit a Canadian says, it's not going to change the facts.

You are so single minded in your hatred for anything that poses a threat to your American identity that nothing can change you and all you do is insult and smear the names of those that try.

Lol, you're so single-minded in your inferiority complex that you are guilty of every single criticism that you level at me/Americans but at a far higher degree. You're so biased and desperate to feel better about your country and perpetuate a bias, that you ignore all the facts at every turn and have to discount it as "arrogance" when in fact YOU are the arrogant one.

Oh, by the way, do you believe that any county is better than America?

Nope.

There are certain specific aspects that other countries could be argued to be better in. But "better" as a whole would imply a whole host of issues. And in this regard, no, no country has achieved as much as or contributed to the human race as much as the United States has.

And you're of course going to say this is arrogant, but of course, you have absolutely zero evidence of any kind to cast doubt on this. All you have is what your brainwashed society has taught you. All you have is a bunch of ignorant, uneducated whims of imagination that Canadians have developed to avoid reality and live in the shadow of the country who they depend on without having to address it.

You forgot a quote there.
Now, of course, you're just going throw this back into my face and say the exact same things about me and Canadians as a whole, but you know what? I'm pretty sure that many psychologists will agree that that is a defensive mechanism because you just don't want to admit it.

Now have a good night.

You epitomize moronic.

"durr... I hate Americans, but I read American magazines, watch American tv shows, post on American websites, while using my American computer that runs American software, over the internet which was invented by Americans, in my country that is almost entirely dependent on America... durr.. but I'm not moronic, you are"

Your existence depends on the US. Your livelihood depends on the US. Your way of life depends on the US.

Pretty funny how you still believe your words mean anything. Pretty funny how after completely validating my points, while you have been incapable of validating a single thing you said, you just divert every criticism that applies to you to me instead.

You're literally delusional. It's not an insult, it's a fact.

Yes you may have the best universities, but that is simply because you have the most money to throw around.

38% of Americans have tertiary education (college and university post-secondary) while Canada has 43% the highest of any OECD country.
http://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/32/26/33710 913.xls

So while you have "better" schools, Canadians are more educated.

The US also has about 5 times as many foreign students as Canada does in 2004.

http://stats.oecd.org/wbos/Index.aspx?Da tasetCode=RFOREIGN

So your schools have more foreign students by far, meaning while your schools are good, your students maybe not so much?

It's interesting, but I usually find it to be the other way around. Most students are capable of learning, but the school systems don't seem to have their shit together.

And as for foreign students, it could mean that foreigners like to emigrate to America over Canada, I dunno, but I suppose it could have some relevance. I've only worked with students who were Hispanic or Korean, so I don't have much experience with foreign students' learning.

It is simply because we have an education community that is not only better funded, but is made up of brighter people who are more innovative and achieve more than any one else.

Lol, and as if having more money is a bad thing? As if that could be to the detriment of the US... explain then why countries that have a smaller GDPs rank higher than ones that have higher GDPs, if money is the determining factor?

http://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/32/26/33710 913.xls

Outdated.

Most recent year in that is 2002. My link is from 2005. Go to pg 42.

Attainment rate:

United States: 31%

Canada: 28%

So while you have "better" schools, Canadians are more educated.

Nope.

Americans are more educated and have better schools.

The US also has about 5 times as many foreign students as Canada does in 2004.

And yet the US has 9 times the population of Canada, meaning Canada has a higher proportion of foreign students to domestic students than the US. Nice try though.

United States = Country.

You can also call it U.S.A.

United States of America.

America = Continent.

LOL are you fucking retarded.

There is no continent called "America". There is South America and North America, which are in the Americas.

Verse yourself in the continents.

Lol, is semantics all you have?

It's a simple fact that just about the entire world refers to US citizens as "Americans" and the US as "America". Canadians do it too, even though by your logic they are "Americans" as well.

Standard nomenclature in your country only.

Um and the entire English speaking world, and most of the non-English speaking world... i.e. just about everyone.

In Quebec, we call "Americans" United Statians. So yeah, shut up.

No you don't.

Here's quebec-based news referring to US/US people as "America" or "Americans".

Do I need to find a french-language version where it says l'americain or whatever?

Delusional Canadian.
I don't care if U.S.A. falls and Canada follows.

You want your country to "fall"? Interesting, either you're lying to salvage your remark, or the thought of America "falling" gives you such raging boner that you don't care what it would mean for your country.

When did I say that?

It's pretty reasonable to assume someone would, you know, not want the foundation of their country to collapse and have his/her countrymen face horrific economic conditions and possibly security problems.

You seem to think you know a lot and that I know very little.

Because it's true.
