Canada's best is way back in 23rd place, with hardly a showing in the whole list.

Higher Education?

Shut the FUCK UP.

My teacher Mr. Wezeman is constantly telling us that the US Education's standards are way too low, and the government thinks that we're too dumb. He's my Algebra 1 teacher, and he's teaching it to us even if we're 7th graders. He's also our school's math coach, and he won the teacher of the year award.

Proof

Most Asian and European students are learning what most high schoolers are learning in 3rd or 4th grade.

America's educational standards are way too low to build students up that can compete against smart workers from other countries.

Universities are good of course, but that doesn't make up for the sheer shittyness of America's educational standards.

By the way, Jeff Wong was one of my math coaches for the Math Olympiad, as mentioned in the article.

The sad thing is that kids are failing their education, even when standards are so fucking low.

nah, also you're not white.. that makes an impact.

For no reason, when we have the same reasons the rest of the world does.
Read what I wrote, again. I'm going to repeat this until you do.

Maybe you need to read what you wrote. Europes reason is hating the idiots, well thats Canadas reason as well.. along with others.

We have great rights. And being Canadians, ive seen Lots of hatred and crap towards Canadians for no reson. Like on xbox live alone.. i've been insulted numerous times for being Canadian, when i didn't instigate Anything. Americans hate Canadians for no reason. (obviously not All Americans)
Me, personally, I have nothing against Canadians. Most of you are fine people, but it's the extremists like you that disgust me. Do you know what Americans in general think when they see a Canadian? Nothing whatsoever other than, "Oh, he's not from the U.S."

Did you know that on Warcraft 3 that almost every single one of my bans are Canadian people?
Do you know this is so?
I got sick and tired of hearing every time I check everyone's origin, someone has to say "FUCKING AMERICUNTS". 9/10 of my bans are Canadians, and 9/10 of that for being an annoying whiny bitch. The other 1/10 of the majority are U.S. for being stupidly hostile as well. They stick with simple age old shit talk, but never nation bashing, not like you.

So you have bad experiences with Canadas on wc3, i have bad experiences with Americans on xbox live. What makes your point any more valid...

If i were to changed to an American Right now though, then i would feel the same way i do currently.
And you just proved to me your arguments are entirely based on what you think rather than what you have experienced., I'm done with you.

ive Been to America, ive Experienced Americans being disgustingly arrogant and ignorant, stop being moronic.

Oh and by the way, to show you how truly idiotic Canadian anti-Americanism is.

Let's take a look at the fact that Canada's economy wouldn't be shit without the US?

Canada's economy is WAY, WAY more dependent on the US.

- 85.6% of Canada's exports go to the US, and 76.3% of Canada's imports are from the US.
- 30% of total employment in Canada revolve around exports. (that's about 10 million people)
- Exports amount to 45% of Canada's GDP
- If jobs are reflective of GDP, that would mean about 4.5 million jobs in Canada are due to trade with the US, that means about 1/4th of Canada's labor force of 17.5 million.

Conversely...

- 20% of US exports go to Canada, while 16% of US imports come from Canada
- Exports only account for 12% of the US GDP.
- Canada-related exports account for 2 million US jobs. (about 1/75th of employment of the US labor force of 151 million)

Canada's economy is almost entirely dependent on the US.

And yet, Canadians think they are better or superior to the US how? How the fuck can you think you're better than a country when your existence depends on it?

Oh that's right, that's where Canada's media comes in. See, since Canadians couldn't have pride without being lied to, they have a little something called the CBC.

The CBC, is OWNED by the Canadian government. the CBC was made specifically to be pro-Canadian in nature:

(d) the Canadian broadcasting system should

(i) serve to safeguard, enrich and strengthen the cultural, political, social and economic fabric of Canada,

(ii) encourage the development of Canadian expression by providing a wide range of programming that reflects Canadian attitudes, opinions, ideas, values and artistic creativity, by displaying Canadian talent in entertainment programming and by offering information and analysis concerning Canada and other countries from a Canadian point of view,

(iii) through its programming and the employment opportunities arising out of its operations, serve the needs and interests, and reflect the circumstances and aspirations, of Canadian men, women and children, including equal rights, the linguistic duality and multicultural and multiracial nature of Canadian society and the special place of aboriginal peoples within that society

---

That's fucking pathetic. Canadian media is designed intentionally as a matter of policy to stroke the national pride of Canadians, that explains the idiotic, mindless Canadians you encounter so often. CBC is also designed INTENTIONALLY to counter-act the influence of American culture, that is Canadians are so woefully brainwashed. Anti-Americanism is the root of Canadian pride, Canadians have to be lied to in order to think their country has some superiority when in fact it's inferiority is huge, just so that Canada can maintain it's identity.

Then, media that is supposedly "independent" of Ottawa still has to follow Canadian content laws in order to have a quota of Canadian content, to endorse Canadian cultural things like Canadian music and so forth.

Bottomline:

Canadians that are anti-American are simply brainwashed and delusional. Their pride stems from lies. Their anti-American views are based on a major effort in Canada to mislead Canadians into having a false sense of superiority.

You wouldn't know it if you see it, because you have no point of reference. Canadians are so used to having their Canadian ego and pride stroked and having Americans belittled and berated in your media, that you consider this to be normal and status quo. You consider it to be normal coverage of Americans when it fact your typical media coverage at its most neutral is already biased from the beginning. Your media is DESIGNED to do this, it doesn't have to say "Death to America" to intentionally create an overly-negative and biased view of the US.

Canadians don't make fun of Americans NEARLY as much as they make fun of us.

That point aside though, Canada is pretty much America with free health-care and no GWB.

Seriously, even the money has the same (almost) value. Canadian money was actually equal to US dollars recently, and now they are still pretty close.

So uh, yeah. <end statement>

lol. I dont know how you like.. imagine our media.. but our media is Your media.

The only major Canadian news network is the CBC, which is owned by your government. You may watch American TV shows and news stations, but what you get from the US has to be filtered through Can Con laws at the same time. Other forms of media like newspapers and magazines are still influenced by your cultural protectionism.

What Canadians hear, not only in the news, but in society as a whole, what you are taught, what your dad tells you... it's based on a cultural outlook that intentionally barricades itself from the truth in order to maintain a false sense of pride.

Theres no hatred towards the US in our media.

I get the CBC, I live relatively close to the Canadian border. Your media is biased against the US, it is entirely unquestionable. The shit I have seen passed off as "news" on Canadian TV is just about the most blatantly biased nonsense I've ever seen, aside from Chinese communist propaganda.

Oh and by the way, you said:

"My only anti-Americanism comes from experience With Americans"

Not only is this yet another contradiction of what you've said previously in other threads, but it very clearly documents the idiocy Canadians have. First off, it's obvious that since you're Canadian you've heard and believed many, if not all of the Canadian claims I just disproved.

Secondly, now you're saying you're anti-American because of your experience with Americans, which does nothing to negate the "biting the hand that feeds you" mentality you have considering Americas are the center of your existence! Not only did I show you the economic dependence Canada has on the US, but you just admitted that the TV, music, and other media you have is American! Hell, right now you're on an American website, using probably an American computer with American software. Yet now you're maintaining that you're anti-American because of your experience with Americans, yet what you're doing right now is using things that are created by Americans.

That's pathetic, and it very clearly documents how wacky Canadian views are. You're a nation of living, breathing oxymorons. Even if by chance all those pride-stoking Canadian myths I documented were unknown to you, you still bite the hand that feeds you.

This is true, but many people are dropping out because of poor lower level education. We need to push the standards, and get more kids into college to contribute to America and this world. The education back then was more rigorous from what I heard because America was under the Cold War against the Soviet Union, and the government wanted more scientists and other people of other fields so that they can have the upper hand against the soviets. Now, this is not the case, but maybe I'm wrong because we're having great scientific and educational breakthroughs with our newer generations.

My teacher Mr. Wezeman is constantly telling us that the US Education's standards are way too low
He's an idiot if he's trying to extrapolate that to our entire education system.
He's not trying to extrapolate our entire educational system. He wants the district to get kids excited about learning and achieving things that students in other countries are achieving at an earlier age.

That doesn't back up what you said though, or even really apply to the argument here in the first place.

Our system's standards are way too low compared to other countries, so we must push the standards up and encourage rigorous academic learning.

Our k-12 public education system is doing poorly compared to some other industrialized nations, we need to fix it.

However our higher education system is the best in the world. Our universities perform way, way better than anyone else's academically, especially in areas of research in science and development of technology, medicine etc...

Our public education system for younger students is not very good, but out higher education system is by far the best in the world, and makes up for it.

Proof
Um, proof that a person exists?
Proof to back up what I said. Which is basically to say that this person does exist, so you are correct.

It didn't back up what you said, or validate your larger point. It doesn't work that way.

Watch me do what you did:

I met Stephen Hawking, and he told me that I have a larger Penis than God

Proof

See? The guy exists, therefore everything else I said must now be true.

This is true, but many people are dropping out because of poor lower level education.

And yet we have a higher educational attainment rate as a whole than any other major industrialized nation.

We need to push the standards, and get more kids into college to contribute to America and this world. The education back then was more rigorous from what I heard because America was under the Cold War against the Soviet Union

I blame rap music.

My argument might not be as strong as yours, but I still hold strong to one thing:

We need to raise the standards of lower level education to help out our newer generations.

Everyone needs to raise standards. Of course people want to seek to get better, and have kids succeed more so than they currently do. But that doesn't apply in this argument.

Listen you. My country is bigger and longer then yours and it's been circumcised by the Jews. The one thing worse then your type is dem a-rabs. I hope we nuke em all. The Muslim religion is "growing" at an exponential rate and we can't have none of that. No one is bigger then US! We strike first and we strike HARD! But never too fast mind you. If we pull out too soon chaos will arise prematurely.
