What game has the best epic song? I could name off a whole bunch right away but I want to leave that up to you people. Although i must say the final boss music in Final Fantasy IV is one of my favorites.

Halo song gets me in the mood to play Halo every time I hear it and gets me "pumped up" if you will.

I always liked the 8-bit mario track the most. It was epic for its time, now, I don't really notice the music that much, CoD 4 gets the mood that shows the intensity of war, so that music works well.

That's all great music, I really like that halo song and the Legend of zelda music, I've listened to alot of video game music so whenever I hear the name I just quickly remember it. Sometimes you'll come across a song so Epic and fitting to the scene it can send shivers up your spine, Examples: The champion music in pokemon Leafgreen and Firered was kickass, and the legendary fight music in pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald was really great, Honestly have you heard it? OMG! I can't get over it, if you havnt heard it then look it up on youtube you wont be wasting your time and anyone who has heard it probably knows what i'm talking about

Morrowind's title music gives me goosebumps. Metroid Prime's main theme is good. Banjo Kazooie is amazing. However one game tops it all.

Anyways, a large amount of Legend of Zelda songs, particularly the Song of Time and the main theme. Also, the overworld (if you want to call it that) music in Banjo-Kazooie. It was perfect for the game's atmosphere.

For best all-around soundtracks, though, it gets no better than Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, and the shockingly versatile (given the technology) EarthBound.

Halo's main theme. Pretty epic. Metroid Prime's Meta-Ridley fight is pretty good as well. The Master Hand battle music in SSBB is good also.
